Pacific Dawn
P&O Cruises are happy to announce Australia’s first superliner which will join our fleet in Spring 2007. The 70,000 ton Regal Princess will sail from Sydney, Australia as Pacific Dawn. Designed in 1991, by famed architect Renzo Piano, it features a unique dolphin-like prow and a distinctive domed observation lounge that curves around the ship’s front for spectacular views. The 11 decks feature an array of entertainment venues and amenities, including two swimming pools.
Arriving in October 2007, Pacific Dawn will cruise from Sydney to the unspoilt tropical islands of the South Pacific. She boasts spacious decks and an abundance of affordable balcony cabins. Its many features include two swimming pools, a three-storey atrium lobby, a two-storey show lounge, extensive choice of restaurants and entertainment lounges as well as a cinema. An exciting addition to the fleet will be the 184 balcony staterooms on Pacific Dawn, out of a total of 795 cabins.
