Scottish Highlander
The 8-passenger Scottish Highlander is a river barge offering the unique atmosphere of a Scottish Country House, with subtle use of tartan furnishings and landscape paintings. The barge was fully refurbished in 2000. At 117 feet, she is spacious and has every comfort for year-round cruising. The experienced crew members are excellent hosts and will attend to your every need during the week-long cruise. The legends of the past, the taste of single malt and the mythical inhabitant of Loch Ness all contribute to a special magic only experienced in Scotland’s dramatic Highlands.
CABINS Suite Onboard the Scottish Highlander there is one large suite with a double bed, private bath, and two windows. This cabin is larger than the other three and situated at the front of the barge. Like the other cabins it is decorated to create the atmosphere of a Scottish Country House with subtle use of tartan furnishings and landscape paintings. Amenities include:

ONBOARD AMENITIES Salon & Dining Area The salon/dining area has eight observational windows and is furnished with Tartan carpets, armchairs and sofas. There is an open bar available to guests and fine Cuisine served; including traditional Scottish fare - Salmon, Game, Venison and Seafood, prepared by the ships own Master Chef.
Deck & Bridge Enjoy charming passing panorama under the warm sunbeam on the Scottish Highlander's spacious sun deck. The sun deck has deck chairs and the bridge is centrally heated with a private seating area.
